The Nepal Education and Cultural Center (NECC) invites community members to attend a public informational meeting regarding our recent site-plan submission to Montgomery County—a vital step in securing NECC’s long-term stability and growth.

We have sent mailed notifications to neighbors and homeowners associations throughout the area, as required by the county regulations, and anticipate that more than thousand residents across Clarksburg, Germantown, and Damascus have been informed. Your presence will be a powerful demonstration of community support for NECC’s proposed site plan.

    • Approximately 16.75 acres, zoned R-200, with historical significance as the Howes Farm
    • Historic preservation: farmhouse, two stone huts, barn
    • Renovation: Barn converted into assembly hall
    • New construction: Temple spaces for Hindu & Buddhist worship, meditation center, cultural features including Shiva & Buddha podiums
    • Site enhancements: Stormwater management systems, internal circulation, and parking improvements
