Buddha Jayanti
Join us for a special celebration organized by NECC and the “America Nepal Paramparagat Bouddha Dharma Sangha” as we commemorate Buddha Jayanti (the birth of Lord Buddha) at Pashupati Buddha Mandir in Germantown.
Experience an evening filled with prayers and Dharma teachings led by the esteemed Khenpo Pem Tsheri Sherpa from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Following the spiritual sessions, Prasad will be offered from 8:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Please try to arrive between 5:30 pm and 6:00 pm to ensure you don’t miss any part of this auspicious event. Maha Shivaratri
On the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri, NECC cordially invites you and your family to join us in celebrating Maha Shivaratri on March 8, 2024, with great joy and devotion. According to the Hindu calendar, the festival is observed on the fourteenth day of the dark (waning) half of the lunar month of Phalguna or Magha. It commemorates the wedding of Shiva and Parvati, as well as the divine dance performed by Lord Shiva, known as the Tandava. NECC wishes you all a Happy Maha Shivaratri.
