श्री माधव पोखरेल हाल अमेरिकाको मेरील्यान्ड राज्यको जर्मनटाउनस्थित नेपाल शिक्षा तथा सांस्कृतिक केन्द्र (NECC) अन्तर्गतको पशुपति-बुद्ध मन्दिरमा पुजारीको रूपमा सेवा गरिरहनु भएको छ। उहाँले २०२५ अप्रिल ४ देखि यो जिम्मेवारी सम्हाल्नुभएको हो। देवघाटधामस्थित श्री परमानन्द संस्कृत गुरुकुलबाट संस्कृत तथा कर्मकाण्डमा स्नातक उपाधि हासिल गर्नुभएका पोखरेलले वैदिक परम्परामा गहिरो ज्ञान र अनुभव हासिल गर्नुभएको छ। यसअघि, उहाँले देवघाटधाममै रहेको श्री वेद वेदाङ्ग विद्यालयमा संस्कृत शिक्षक, शिव पञ्चायन मन्दिरको सचिव, र ज्योतिर्लिङ्गेश्वर महादेव मन्दिरमा पुजारीको रूपमा सेवा गर्नुभएको थियो।
संस्कृतमा दक्ष र हिन्दू संस्कार तथा कर्मकाण्डमा निपुण पोखरेलको नेतृत्वले मन्दिरको आध्यात्मिक र सांस्कृतिक वातावरणलाई समृद्ध बनाएको छ। दैनिक पूजा देखि जीवनका प्रमुख संस्कारसम्मका सबै विधिहरूमा उहाँको विशेषज्ञता रहेको छ, जसले NECC समुदायलाई प्रामाणिक र व्यवस्थित धार्मिक सेवाहरू प्रदान गर्न सुनिश्चित गरेको छ। NECC समुदायका विविध आध्यात्मिक र सांस्कृतिक आवश्यकताहरूलाई ध्यानमा राखी गरिएको कठोर छनोट प्रक्रियाबाट उहाँ चयन हुनुभएको हो, जसले उहाँको गहिरो आध्यात्मिक ज्ञान र समर्पणलाई प्रतिबिम्बित गर्दछ।
पुजारी पोखरेल हाल पनि NECC समुदायलाई मार्गदर्शन र सेवा प्रदान गर्दै, मन्दिरको आध्यात्मिक अखण्डता कायम राख्न र भक्तजनहरूबीच गहिरो सम्बन्ध विकास गर्न निरन्तर लागिरहनु भएको छ।

Shree Madhav Pokhrel currently serves as the Priest of Pashupati-Buddha Mandir at the Nepal Education and Cultural Center (NECC) in Germantown, Maryland, a position he has held since April 4, 2025. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sanskrit and Karmakanda from Shree Paramananda Sanskrit Gurukulam in Devghat Dham, Nepal, and has extensive experience in religious and Vedic traditions. Previously, he served as a Sanskrit teacher at Shree Bed Bedanga Bidyalaya, Secretary of Shiva Panchayan Mandir, and Priest at Jyotirlingeshwar Mahadev Mandir, all located in Devghat Dham, Nepal.

Fluent in Sanskrit and well-versed in Hindu rituals, Priest Pokhrel’s leadership enriches our temple’s spiritual and cultural community. His expertise in all aspects of Hindu rituals—from daily pujas to major life ceremonies—ensures that NECC members have access to authentic and well-performed religious services. He was selected through a rigorous selection process that considered the diverse spiritual and cultural needs of the NECC community, reflecting his deep spiritual wisdom and dedication.

Priest Pokhrel continues to guide and serve the NECC community, upholding the temple’s spiritual integrity and fostering a deeper connection among devotees.
