Nepal Education and Cultural Center (NECC) recently hosted its Annual NECC Anniversary, Volunteer + Donor Appreciation Event, a memorable occasion celebrating the dedication and contributions of our community. The event was graced by NECC Members, Volunteers, County and State Delegates, who addressed the attendees and expressed their support for NECC’s mission.
The program included updates and achievements from various departments:
- NECC General Secretary presented a comprehensive progress report on the Executive Term Goals and Objectives set earlier in the year, along with plans for the remainder of the term.
- Finance VP Laxman Pradhan provided a detailed overview of NECC’s current financial status, highlighting transparency and fiscal responsibility.
- Pathsala Vice Principal Roshan Shrestha showcased the outstanding achievements of Nepali Pathsala of Maryland, underscoring its commitment to preserving and promoting Nepali culture and language.
In a key moment of the event, President Prajwal Regmi proposed critical changes to NECC’s By-Laws, which were subsequently approved by the Annual General Meeting (AGM), marking a significant step towards strengthening NECC’s governance and operational framework.
Volunteers were recognized for their unwavering support, with appreciation certificates from both NECC and the US President’s Office, celebrating their outstanding contributions to the community.
